Patrick Wolff is twice US Junior Champion (1983, 1987) and twice US Chess Champion (1992, 1995). Wolff became a grandmaster in 1990. In 1995, Wolff served as second and trainer to Vishy Anand who challenged Garry Kasparov for the World Championship title in 1995. Wolff has written many books and articles on chess and his contribution to the chess dvd media is his Master Class series of dvds with particular emphasis on middlegame strategy and planning.
